Soo true. BTW I realize that most people nowadays find out about their problems on their own anymore. Even my psychologist thinks I still have problems when I just figured out whats wrong with me the whole time and now I know how to deal with my problems all on my own. Kind of waste my money on that part.
yeah but at the same time it's difficult and not to mention tricky to treat really intelligent people. Not saying that therapy is only for the absent minded, just that therapy is more about subtlety and intelligent people tend to pick up on it more.
My thoughts exactly. No matter what other people tells you, it`s ultimately your own thoughts that changes you. All you need to know in order to be a good psychiatrists is how to get other people think the rights things in order to get the wanted change.
Oh god, I'm studying psychology and I love this comic strip. Unlike 90% of people who study with me I don't want to be another psychotherapist and MOST people who claim they want to be it... well... their own psychical health is bad. VERY BAD. We were taking tests and results show how bad exactly. This is terrible! Dear people, of course it's very useful to have some crazy experience and tough life behind you if you want to understand your future patients but if you're just sick person who needs help then don't try to help others before you help yourself GODDAMNIT. So most of them want to help people but their life problems keeps them busy with themselves and make them see world and people in a wrong way and so they interpret people's problems wrong way and give them wrong advices. Ehhhhhhhhh they ruin our reputation so badly...
